New HEI distributor for small block/big block Chevys. Applications included: 283, 305, 307, 350, and 400 V8's. Also works for big block Chevy 396, 427, and 454 V8's. Fits 1974 to 1986 Chevy engines that have the 4 pin style ignition module and is also pefect for upgrading older non computer controlled engines. 

 Points type distributors, factory HEIs, and other inferior units can not compare to this performance HEI. You'll get better starting, smoother running, and of course more power. All parts are self contained, run one 12v wire to it and you are done!

 Fully CNC machined and polished housing with adjustable vacuum advance. Each distributor has a 65,000 volt Super Coil and high performance module to insure accurate and reliable timing to 7,500 RPM. Has Accel style coil cover which acts as wire retention and helps dissipate heat away from the coil. The cast iron gear will work with cast or billet cams, bronze gears are available. Premium cap with brass terminals. True spark alignment for instant throttle response.
